Terms of service

1. Payment Terms

• Advance Payment: 70% of the total order value must be paid as advance to confirm the order. Production / procurement will begin only after advance is received.

• Balance Payment: Remaining 30% must be cleared before delivery is dispatched. Once the product is ready, photos will be shared with the customer for confirmation prior to dispatch.

• EMI Available: Bajaj Finserv EMI option is available. Please ask our team for eligibility and documentation.

• Pricing: All prices quoted are factory-direct rates.

2. Delivery & Installation

• Delivery Reminder: Customer is requested to confirm delivery readiness at least 1 week prior to scheduled delivery date.

• Unloading at Customer Premises: Our delivery vehicle carries only the driver, as we operate from a factory setup. The customer is required to arrange labour for unloading the furniture at their premises. If the customer requests Manley Furniture Studio to provide unloading staff, charges will be ₹1000 per person. For long-distance deliveries that require multiple days, charges will be calculated on a per-day per-person basis. Unloading staff are paid daily.

• Floor Access: For deliveries above the ground floor (1st floor and above), the customer must arrange labour to assist with carrying the furniture upstairs. Additional charges may apply if labour is arranged by us.

• Site Access & Measurements: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that doorways, staircases, lifts, and entry points can accommodate the ordered furniture. Manley Furniture Studio is not liable if the product cannot fit through the customer's premises.

• Delivery Charges: Transportation and installation charges, if applicable, will be billed separately and are not included in the product price unless explicitly mentioned in the quotation.

3. Pricing Validity

• Price Lock Period: Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of advance payment. If delivery is delayed beyond 30 days due to customer's side (storage, site readiness, payment delay, etc.), prices may be revised based on prevailing raw material rates at the time of dispatch. Revised pricing will be communicated to the customer for approval before production resumes.

4. Product Specifications

• Fabric & Color: Sofa fabric and material colors may appear slightly different from photographs due to lighting conditions (warm light, daylight, screen calibration). For exact color matching, customers are advised to visit our showroom and select fabric swatches in person.

• Wood Grain & Finish: Natural wood products may have minor variations in grain, color, and finish. These are characteristics of natural materials, not defects.

5. Warranty

• Activation: Warranty becomes active only after the full balance payment is cleared. Any outstanding balance must be settled to claim warranty service.

• Coverage: Warranty covers manufacturing defects in frame and structure as per product-specific warranty card. It does not cover normal wear and tear, fabric damage, water damage, misuse, or damage caused by transportation arranged by the customer.

• Claims: Warranty claims must be raised within the warranty period along with the original invoice.

6. Cancellation Policy

• No Refund Policy: Once advance payment is made and the order is confirmed, strictly no refund will be issued. Production / procurement begins immediately and resources are allocated to the customer's order.

• Exceptional Cases: In rare and exceptional cases where cancellation is unavoidable, a minimum cancellation charge of 25% of the total order value will be deducted from the advance paid, subject to management approval. The remaining amount, if any, will be refunded only after evaluation of work already completed, materials procured, and other expenses incurred.

• Custom Orders: Customized or made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has started. The advance is fully non-refundable in such cases.

7. Project Orders (Restaurants, Cafés, Auditoriums, Offices)

• Project orders follow tiered pricing based on order value. Detailed quotation will be shared separately.

• Site Visit: If a site visit is required for measurement or consultation, an advance payment must be made before the visit is scheduled. This amount will be adjusted against the final order value if the order is confirmed. If the order is not confirmed, the site visit fee is non-refundable.

• Lead time for project orders varies based on order size and customization. Indicative timelines will be confirmed in writing at the time of order.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By making the advance payment, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions stated above.
